Our Wedding

Our Story On How We Met Jack and I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and were in the same grade in school. Amazingly, our paths did not cross throughout the years even though we had mutual friends. I graduated high school from Jackson Academy and graduated college from Ole Miss while Jack graduated high school from Jackson Prep and graduated college from Mississippi State. During our college years, we both visited Starkville and Oxford, usually on football weekends, to see friends. After dating for several months, we discovered there were times we were at the same events, but did not have the opportunity to meet each other. That all changed, and we finally met on a beautiful spring Saturday afternoon in April, 2025. I met some friends at Fertile Ground in the Belhaven District of Jackson to catch up and enjoy being outdoors. Jack saw us there talking and walked over to say hello since he knew the people I was with. Our mutual friends introduced Jack and I to each other that day. As the day went on, other friends joined us, and we socialized together all afternoon. As it was getting later, we all decided to have dinner next door at Pulito. Jack sat beside me. We continued to talk and got to know one another. Everyone began discussing going to Double Decker in Oxford the next weekend. I was planning on being in Oxford that weekend to host a friend’s baby shower and to celebrate my birthday at Double Decker. Jack got my number and said he would text me if he could make it. The next Friday Jack texted and said he was on his way to Double Decker. Jack and I along with other friends met up on the Square Friday and Saturday nights. It was the best Double Decker weekend! After returning home to Jackson, Jack began planning things for us to do and obviously more and more dates followed in the months to come. After dating over a year, Jack surprised me with a proposal on May 30, 2026 at The Faulkner. The answer was Yes! Afterwards, we celebrated in the private dining room with family at Pulito, the location of our first date. Looking back over our chance meeting that spring day in 2025, we have come to realize that it was not a chance meeting at all, but instead a divine appointment made a long time ago. Proverbs 16:9

Dress Code

We have reserved a block of rooms and secured a special rate at the AC Hotel in Ridgeland, MS for Caroline and Jack's wedding weekend guests. Please ask for the Bobinger/Garrard room block for January 8 and January 9, 2027 when booking your reservations by phone. If you book online, please see the Website below. You do not have to reserve two nights if you only intend to stay the evening of the wedding. Thank you!
